We are extremely keen to support the Good Citizen Dog Scheme. As we work in the main with family pets, we really want all the dogs we are involved with to be happy, well-behaved members of society who can go anywhere they’re allowed to with their families. The KCGCDS requires that owners are knowledgeable about their responsibilities as dog owners, and that dogs are good citizens! There are 4 levels at present, Puppy Foundation for puppies and dogs under 12 months of age, and Bronze, Silver and Gold for dogs of any age. We hold regular Bronze award tests, with classes running up to the exam if you feel you need help, and occasional Silver and Gold tests, again with classes leading up to the exam.
